The aim of this report is to give a documentation of the project carried out during the program of the master lecture `Web Engineering' [1] in the summer term 2007 at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. First, the use cases and the tasks to be fulfilled are described, including the approximate division of work done by the two authors. Second, an overview over the most important approaches that can be used to realise such a project is given, followed by a more detailed description of the approach actually chosen. Third, the technologies used are shortly described and evaluated. Additionally, an installation guide both for developers and users is given. Fourth, a user guide explains how to use the web interface. Fifth, a short summary and possible extensions are given. Last, we take a closer look at the advantages and disadvantages of the .NET-environment.
In this project a todo-list shall be implemented using several different technologies, especially the environment provided by ASP.NET [15] and .NET (confer to Section
for more details). The user should be able to manage a list of tasks to be accomplished, similar to the todo-lists in a mobile phone.
