Install Website

To install the website, several steps are necessary (it is assumed that IIS has been installed previously). First, download and unpack the zip-file from http://tdmd.zindel.org. Second, go to the Administrative Tools in the Control Panel and open the windows Internet Information Services. There you have to create a new Virtual Directory by right-clicking on the Default Web Site (confer to Figure ). This opens the creation wizard which you have to follow. Firstly, type tdmd in the alias-field (cf. Figure ). Secondly, create a new folder tdmd in the folder Inetpub (usually found on C:, cf. Figure ). Thirdly, let the Access Permissions as they are (cf. Figure ).

These steps have created a new entry tdmd in the tree of the window Internet Information Services (cf. Figure ). As a last step, the files from the zip-file unpacked in the first step must now be moved to the folder chosen in the previous steps (usually Inetpub). You can now access the website by typing http://localhost/tdmd/ in your favourite webbrowser (e.g. Firefox).
