.NET with C$\sharp$ and WebService

The main part of the project was the usage of .NET with C$\sharp$. Therefore the application has ben entirely developed with .NET. The .NET environment was chosen in order to acquire some knowledge in the second most important development environment after Java with JEE 5. For the same reason, a WebService offered by Amazon was used in the frame of this project. In particular, users can now run a search for a book sold by Amazon.co.uk. If they find an appropriate book, it may be added to the ask (the URL and the title are stored).

At the beginning the use of .NET was not facile at all for the developers of this project. However it arised, after a rather long phase of familiarisation, that some tasks were very easy. A more detailed evaluation of .NET is given in Section  on page .
